How it works

A short test of download, upload, latency, and jitter. Results reflect this browser and its connection to the nearest Cloudflare edge.

Measurement & privacy

We run progressively larger HTTP transfers, report the median download and upload throughput, and measure idle latency after a warm-up. Jitter is the mean absolute difference between consecutive latency samples.

Single-request throughput includes HTTP overhead. VPNs, Wi-Fi, other traffic, and browser limits can affect results. This is not a measurement of every route on the Internet. Packet loss is not measured.

Results stay in this tab unless you save them. No analytics, cookies, or third-party scripts are used. Cloudflare processes your IP address and requests to provide this service. Closing or hiding this tab stops an active test.
